Located off the coast of Morocco, the Canaries are a group of volcanic islands that are among Spain’s farthest-flung territories, rich in nature and no shortage of beautiful views. Last September, 25-year-old media student Lukas Furlan spent few weeks investigating two of the islands, Tenerife, and the much tinier La Gomera, returning with a remarkable collection of photos. At a young age, Furlan has already gathered an extraordinary body of landscape photography, most prominently several series of images taken at various locations along the Alps.
