If you get that wrong feeling when you throw plastic waste away, then these disturbing yet fascinating giant sculptures will give the message home that our society is abusing these non-biodegradable materials, and we need to make a change.
Skillfully crafted by Oregon-based organization Washed Ashore the sculptures are made completely from plastic materials that have washed up on a beach or have been found drifting at sea. While these sculptures are beautiful, they aren’t something to praise. Instead, we’re urged to rethink our purchases and assure we’re doing everything we can avoid unnecessary waste.
