This 145-square-meter detached house is designed to complement the large Japanese red pine trees that dot the street. Upon visiting the site, Hirayama aspired to craft a dwelling that feels seamlessly woven into this picturesque landscape.

The structure utilizes a sophisticated palette of wood and steel, materials selected for their ability to both blend with and enhance the natural environment. Integrated design and exquisite craftsmanship

The structural engineering was managed by Tetsuya Tanaka Structural Engineers, while the interiors and furniture were crafted by Katsuaki Kobayashi. Lighting design was a collaboration with AURORA Inc., led by Yoshiki Ichikawa, and the landscape was shaped by Hashiuchi Landscape Design.
